Well, here we are at the end of the third exciting season with the SWB Yankees. And for the third straight season, the team has made it to the playoffs. This season has had it's high and low points, but despite the problems with drainage and scheduling, minor league baseball here in Scranton remains one of the best entertainment bargains around. Sloppy play did SWB in tonight, as the pass ball and throwing error opened all the scoring for the Pigs.

Damaso Marte came in for 2 outs and Jonathan Albaladejo closed it out. Austin Jackson had two stolen bases today.

Braves win 5-3. This was another poor start by the SWB Yankees in a row.

The only bright spot for the Yankees was a booming home run by Shelley Duncan in the bottom of the 4th. Other than that it has been all Braves.

A walk off home run to lead off the 9th inning by Yurendell de Caster gives the SWB Yankees a dramatic 6-5 win.

Juan Miranda hit a walk off single scoring Austin Jackson to end a marathon first game of a double header.

With one run in and the bases still loaded Edwar got Steven Tolleson and Justin Huber to strike out to end the game. The final here at PNC Field, SWB 3, Rochester 1.

Abaladejo closed it out without incident and SWB game 1 5-0.

This is SWB’s 3rd loss in a row. Over the last 3 games they have allowed 7 unearned runs ans have committed 5 errors.

There was no scoring after the fourth . Edwar came in and dominated as usual, going 2 scoreless innings, with 4 K ’s. Jonathan Albaladejo got the save. Final: SWB 3, Indianapolis 3.

Kei Igawa got his 6th win of the season, striking out 8 batters in the process. Mark Melancon allowed a run on 2 hits in 2.2 innings of work.

The SWB Yankees return home with a 1 - 0 win over Toledo.
