The SWB swimteam will try again tonight!

Posted on 19 June 2009 by Zod I swear it has been raining here in NEPA since the middle of May. I had to sail to PNC Field tonight and was able to atttach my mooring line to a post in the preferred docking area. Tonight’s game may be the last this weekend, since we forecast to get 1-2 inces of rain here tomorrow and Sunday. So, since I can’t cut my grass, I came to the game. Tonight, Sergio Mitre will take the mound (or island) for SWB vs. Ty Taubenheim for the Indianapolis Indians. The lineups:

SWB:

Kevin Russo, 2B Austin Jackson, CF Cody Ransom, SS Shelley Duncan, RF Juan Miranda, 1B John Rodriguez, LF Justin Leone, 3B Eric Duncan, DH Kevin Cash, C

Indianapolis:

Chris Snelling, DH Brian Bixler, SS Jeff Salazar, CF Garrett Jones, LF Steve Pearce, RF Erik Kratz, C Luis Cruz, 1B Chris Barnwell, 3B Shelby Ford, 2B

SWB jumps to the lead

Two more runs for Indy

Posted on 19 June 2009 by Zod Erik Kratz’ 2 run single in the 4th brings the Indians to within 1 run. It’s SWB 4, Indianapolis 3.

Final SWB 4 Indianapolis 3

Posted on 19 June 2009 by Zod There was no scoring after the fourth . Edwar came in and dominated as usual, going 2 scoreless innings, with 4 K ’s. Jonathan Albaladejo got the save. Final: SWB 3, Indianapolis 3. Game note : I was hit in the hand by a foul ball off the bat of John Rodriguez in the bottom of the 8th. I am day to day, but aren’t we all ;)
