SWB Tonight Igawa vs Brown, Shelley is unhappy

John Rodriguez is back from Trenton and his bat is welcome. Tonight’s lineup: Kevin Russo SS Austin Jackson CF Cody Ransom 2B Shelley Duncan RF Juan Miranda 1B John Rodriguez LF Justin Leone 3B Eric Duncan DH Kevin Cash C In a pre-game interview, Shelley Duncan indicated his displeasure with the organization for not giving him an opportunity to play in the Show. He said he takes it personally and is out to prove the scouts wrong. He is not a happy camper.

Posted on 16 June 2009 by Zod …for Iggie with one out and the bases loaded. He induced a ground ball to 1st and struck out one to get out of the inning. SWB 7, Mud Hens 2.

Posted on 16 June 2009 by Zod The Mud Hens added a run in the 8th but that was it as SWB wins their 4tj straight game. Kei Igawa got his 6th win of the season, striking out 8 batters in the process. Mark Melancon allowed a run on 2 hits in 2.2 innings of work. He struck out 2. John Rodriguez was the hitting star driving in 4 of the Yankee’s runs. He was 2-4 with a home run.

A correction to Nova's line...Kroenke allowed both inherited runners to score so Nova is charged with both. A double steal and singe by Desmond Jennings tied the game in the top of the 8th.
