Nova impressive through 3

Posted on 29 June 2009 by Zod Well we have seen 3 innings of Ivan Nova and he is good. He has a FB consistantly in the low 90’s (hit 94 a few times), a good slider and curve ball. He also has a no no through 3.

Bottom 2nd, SWB 2, Red Wings 0.

Posted on 29 June 2009 by Zod Back to back doubles by Ajax and Colin Curtis and an RBI single by Shelley Duncan and SWB takes the lead in the bottom of the 2nd, 2-0.

Ivan Nova DOMINANT!

Nova’s night is done

Posted on 29 June 2009 by Zod Ivan Nova gave up his first AAA hit with 2 outs in the top of the 6th and Dave Miley came to get him and called on Albaladejo to close the inning. Still 2-0 Yankees.

Duncan Bino!

Posted on 29 June 2009 by Zod Eric this time. A 3 run shot in the bottom of the 6th and it’s SWB 5, Rochester 0.

Game 1 final SWB 5, Rochester 0.

Posted on 29 June 2009 by Zod Abaladejo closed it out without incident and SWB game 1 5-0.
