Nady in right field for SWB Tonight

Game Update

Posted on 24 June 2009 by Zod Justin Leone doubled home Shelley Duncan, then with Miranda on 3rd & Leone on 2nd Syracuse intentionally walked Chris Stewart. Doug Bernier groused to 2nd and Miranda scored on the play. It should have been a DP but Bynum missed the bag and only got the out at 1st. SWB 2, Syracuse 0.

Edwar in the 7th

Posted on 24 June 2009 by Zod In the top of the 7th, after Edwar got the first two outs, he allowed a walk to Padilla who stole 2nd and scored on Justin Maxwell’s single. Maxwell stole 2nd and scored on Ryan Langerhans’ single. Chiefs 4, SWB 2.

Another night another loss

Posted on 24 June 2009 by Zod Each team added a run on the 8th. Syracuse on a home Ron by Seth Bynum and SWB on an error. Final SWB 3 Syracuse 5 This is the last game of this home stand. The Yankees return home Monday for a two game series against Rochester and then a big series with the Red Sox over the Independence Day weekend.

A correction to Nova's line...Kroenke allowed both inherited runners to score so Nova is charged with both. A double steal and singe by Desmond Jennings tied the game in the top of the 8th.
