The Wheels come off, Chiefs 7, SWB 3

Posted on 04 June 2009 by Zod A fielding error by Justin Leone opened the floodgates in a 5 run 4th and knocked Paul Bush out of the game. Mark Menancon came on and was ineffective, hitting a batter, walking a batter, and allowing 4 runners to score. He is not the same pitcher I saw before he went up to New York. Syracuse added a run in the 5th and Shelley Duncan hit his 19th homer in the 4th and Austin Jackson hit a homer in the 5th. The score is 7-3 in the 5th. It’s been a long day here (I’ve been here since 5:30) and I am headed home. I will finish this from there.
