SWB Tonight, we now have a leadoff man

Posted on 04 June 2009 by Zod Cody Ransom is in the lineup leading off and playing 2nd. Reegie Corona was sent back to Trenton. Good luck! A double header tonight due to last night’s rainout. Tonight’s first game lineup: Cody Ransom, 2B Austin Jackson, CF Todd Linden, LF Shelley Duncan, RF Juan Miranda, 1B John Rodriguez, DH Justin Leone, SS Eric Duncan, 3B Kevin Cash, C

We get one, we give one away

Posted on 04 June 2009 by Zod John Rodriguez homered in the bottom of the second to put SWB up 1-0. Kei Igawa got in trouble in the top of the third giving up a two out, bases loaded walk after 3 singles. He finally wiggled out of trouble with a K to end the inning. It could have been worse. SWB 1, Syracuse 1.

Codybino!

Posted on 04 June 2009 by Zod On his 2nd AB in the boytom of the 3rd, Cody Random sends one over the left center field wall to put SWB ahead 2-1.

Well, that didn’t last long!

Posted on 04 June 2009 by Zod Top 4th and Igawa plunks Corey Patterson square on the numbers. Then Seth Bynum doubled him home, and after Kory Casto sacrificed him to third, he scored on a single by Gustavo Molina. SWB 2, Syracuse 3.

Tied again in the bottom of the 4th

Posted on 04 June 2009 by Zod Three singles by Shelley Duncan, Juan Miranda, and John Rodriguez and we are tied at 3. The bad news: Igawa is coming out for the 5th.

Igawa gives it back again!

Posted on 04 June 2009 by Zod On a Mike Vento homer in the 5th. Syracuse 4, SWB 3.

Seesaw

Posted on 04 June 2009 by Zod Well, SWB re-takes the lead. Cody Ransom doubled, Ajax drove pinch runner Louis Nunez home to tie the game and then scored on a Todd Linden triple, who scored on a Shelley Duncan sac fly. SWB 6, Syracuse 4.

Albaladejo & Edwar sink SWB

Posted on 04 June 2009 by Zod Jonathan Albaladejo blew the 2 run lead and the save in the 7th, and then Edwar Ramirez gave up 2 home runs in extra inning 8 to sink SWB 8-6. There is a reason they are here and not with the big club. If they were any good they would be up there, or words to that effect. Game 2 in 20 minutes. RecapBox
