Romulo Sanchez pitched a decent game but Scranton left their bats at PNC Field as the Durham Bulls took the first game of the Governor's Cup playoff, 4-1. Jeremy R. Hellickson got the win for Durham. The big inning was the 6th, when the Bulls, who already had a on run lead, scored 3 runs. The big blow was a bases loaded single by Michel Hernandez off Zach Kroenke who had relieved Sanchez. Ironically, this is the spot where Anthony Claggett, who was DFA'd today, would have probably come in. Hoping for the road split, the Yankees will send Ian Kennedy to the mound. He will probably be on a pitch count, so things are dubious at best.
